Sorry for delay.
There’s nothing stamped on the back of the cam.
I’ve attached a picture. If that helps.

Help identify a camshaft
Hello, I’m helping a friend strip and assess his engine. It’s a 3.5 block with 10.5 pistons, tin gaskets and 29cc heads. Not measured yet but guess a super high compression. The cam shaft has CWC stamped on it and purple paint. Has adjustable cam chain and machined to take a retaining plate so know ...

Re: Forged pistons and rods
Here’s some pictures of the pistons.
Real steel don’t offer the stroker kit, but this would have been high compression.
Didn’t think it would be so hard to find parts for a top
Hatted 4.6.
Guess it’ll be custom.

Re: Forged pistons and rods
John Eales was the 1st person I’ve tried and everyone since has said to go to him. After several emails to him, he has said he has nothing suitable. Real steel haven’t anything. I think out piston issues were cause by incorrect fuelling, the rods, unsure of reason. Previous engine was a 3.9, 8.13 pi...

Forged pistons and rods
Hello all, I’ve another project in the go. I’m looking at building a 4.6/4.8 top hatted block for a super charged engine. The current 3.9 has bent rods and melted pistons. I’m looking for forged pistons and rods. Really struggling to find anything. Are there any suppliers that could help? Be using m...

Rover rocker shafts
Hello
I'm going to fit my rocker gear to my engine today and noticed that there are no marks on either end of the shafts, how do I know which bank they belong to? Does it matter?
Thanks.

Crossbolt torque, a spacer and shims
Does anyone know the torque of the cross bolts for a rover?
Might be a strange question, I brought a new 4.0 litre engine, with it came a spacer, where does it go, using a old sd1 engine for rest of pieces, told I'd need it.
Can I uses more than 1 rocker shim to get correct lifter preload?
Thanks

Piston/valve clearance
Hello, does anyone know what sort of clearance I should have between pistons and valves. I'm using a crower 50232 cam in a 4 litre. I have contact and need the pistons pocketing.
