newbie advice please

e.bay has 2 35dm8 dizzys for sale, according to D. Hardcastles book thats the best oe dizzy to have, one's from a range rover, one says its from an efi lump, I'm rebuilding a carb sd1 lump, Question is... is there a difference between the 2? if so, which one would be better for me? Thanks in advance...

Thanks for your advice m8, the bores look ok to my untrained eye, certainly no pitting or obvious wear & I've been back on to real steel
who now say "slight" ridges are'nt a problem & there ridge dodgers rings
should compensate for that so theres my answer..

Just purchased this water pump off of flea bay, new, boxed for £13.
Its "apparently" the one Real Steel recommend for rv8 kit cars & the like,
Have any of you more knowledgeable guys heard of it? All google throws
up is that it fits a Buick Riviera!
