I agree - by the time all those mods have been made, it's a bit of a mongrel.

That engine in a standard looking Stag would be something very different!

(can't quite understand why the web site is (TVR) Tuscan though??)

Chris.

The Car has been around like that for probably 25 years, used to race in ModSports, ok the car has evolve, and is probably far faster than it ever was as a Modsport racer, I think we raced against it when there was not enough Modsporte or Special Saloons for a decent race, and it was slow then,
I saw it again at bromley for the first time in years with the RV8 fitted spouting on how quick it used to be and how quich it is today
THE SMOKING GNU
12.604 with an old boiler of a RV8 and no gas
WHY are there so many IANS on this site???????

That was Phil - indeed - I've got the Stag powertrain from that very same car sitting in the garage - alas, the AJP project wasn't to be and despite being nigh on the point of running, was cancelled, stripped out and the rolling shell sold.

Reputedly got a 280BHP XE in it now!

I'm gutted to hear that, but it was an ambitious project and those engines weren't the most reliable on the street. Could have caused a few expensive headaches down the road.
