Thanks again for your replies gents, here's a pic of the manifold: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h272/agentb0b/Weber/26dc259b.jpg It's certainly homebrew and could do with some tidying up but appears decent enough, I don't think its ever going to make a hill of money on the open market though :l...

Thanks Mike. A bit of a cheeky question but does anyone have an idea of the rough value of these? I have four of them (two of each type) and a home made manifold that was all fitted to the car when I bought it. At the moment they are just sitting in the shed, I'm not going to use them so I may as we...

Weber Carb ID
Hello All, I was going through the shed the other day and found the Weber 44 IDF carbs that were fitted to my MX-5 when I bought it, I hadn't really noticed before but there seems to be two different types (two of each), does anyone know what the differences are or is it just a design update of some...

Bodger they are very nice looking!!! I'm still not over keen on huggers and I can fit something slightly better than them in there- the other prob I have discovered since getting under the car again is that I can't run the secondary pipes down the middle of the car very easily without them hanging ...

A quick google found this: 'All this performance meant that support systems had to be augmented also. M engineers developed a high efficiency cooling and oiling system, which consists of an isolated wet sump and four oil pumps: two electric, on mechanical drain, and one main variable mechanical pres...

I have to say I'm with chodjinn here - if you aren't insured then you should be on a SORN - end of (unless I have missed something!). I agree there should be some sort of visual representation that a vehicle is insured (a second tax disk or whatever) so that its easier for coppers and so on without ...

Megasquirt - Wheel decoder settings
Hello all, I've got to the stage with my car where I am getting ready to have a go at starting it for the first time but I've a concern over the trigger wheel settings. My sensor is pointing at tooth 10 (after the missing one) on my 36-1 wheel, so when I put this into the wheel decoder calculating s...

) kept a build diary which is HERE.
