diffrent oil filter

hi recently fitted a 3.5 v8 into a land rover defender the engine was out of a range rover classic it had a long oil filter fitted to start with , after a few days running i noticed the front axe was hitting the middle of the filter body small dent , so i changed the filter for a shorter one coopers...

yes the expensive one is expensive , i had a look around on the net and one post the guy said he had fitted one to a sd1 , off a ford Fiesta.
does any one know if this is true or tried it . must be lots cheaper

Ok tried doing that car running for about one minute on petrol, then unplugged flapper , engine died straight away . Is that what it should do because its getting no single .

hi , my 3.5 efi runs ok on lpg but runs as if missing on a few cylinders when cold , it gets better the more it warms up. After 15 minutes or so . I have changed the fuel filter plugs coil and cap . which improved things a bit . but the uneven running is still there. Starts ok from cold but then goe...

hi , the buttons on the Harley switches are built into the whole handle bar controls and i did not want to change them . Unless the insides could be modified. Not a lot of room in there. I think relays might be less work. As a standard bike the indicators work via the alarm , it controls everything ...

hi my range rover 3.5 has just blown my air flow meter apart 3.5 flapper identified on the rpi web site. anyway i got a second hand one off ebay .but when it came it looks like the 3.5 flapper ,same electrical socket but larger inlet and outlet orifices and no mounting holes on the side 3 ,8mm tappe...

wont start unless i disconnect sensor

hello new to the forum I recently fitted a 3.5 v8 flapper to my 130 , every thing ran fine for a short while , now it is very poor at starting just spins over . when it dose start it runs and goes fine . If i disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor the <one behind the easy one> it starts up...
