You got the altenator bracket sorted yet ??

Im buying an Emeral ecu sysetem and they have told me to use resisted spark plugs. At the moment im using B7ECS plugs, but ngk dont do BR7ECS ones !!!

What do you guys use??? anyone ran an emeraled without resisted plugs?

Any help or advice be great.

Erm i just brought the plugs straight from John Eales .....

I just put them in because i never had a problem with them before it will be worth checking though, what gap would u reccomend ??

Ive raced my off roader 3 times now and ive go an annoying bit of missing about half way through the rev range. It doesnt happen all the time, generally if i floor the throttle it seem to go straight through it but if you are being carefull and taking it steady building up the revs it starts missing...

Ian, Ive been planning on putting an emerald system on it, Just havnt had enough time at moment. After the Racing this weekend im going to be buying one !!

Ahh the petrol in the oil is no real problem, as many people with JE ecu's will know, they like to put a lot more fuel into the engine to get the power out the engine!

I change the oil after every meeting or about 50 miles of racing anyway !!

Right after getting the engine running the otherday it took it for a drive. When i fist started it the oil pressure was just over 40 psi. After driving it about for a while it dropped low to about 12... its a rover so sometimes they do go low dont they ?? ... then it picked back up to 20 .... and th...

Even better news is that its almost all put back together !!! Gotta say a big thanks to Tony for the help last night. One its all back together ill try and add to the members part of the forum so you can all see it. Might even youtube a video of it so people can hear what it sounds like, mmmmmm lol ...

From my prevous post below i have now worked out what i think each unknown wire i have actually does, but i would be greatfull if i could have second opinions before i wire them up ! Thats just what ive done, what u see of the waterpump is just the casing, it runs freely inside.
