I have a 1992 Range Rover 3.9 V8 Classic.
The other day I noticed that when I came upto junctions the engine kept cutting out. To add to that it is very hesitent when starting from cold.
This morning however i turn the igntion on and the '!' engine light is on and then won't start.
I can hear the pump wuring away and fuel moving throught the rail and I checked the King lead and there is a nice big blue spark.
To add i recently changed the coolant temp sensor.
Any ideas?

I don't think that will do it, the ECU light remains on when the igntion is switched on before I even crank it.
I can hear the fuel pump pumping but it doesn't seem to stop.
What conditions cause the ECU light to show before cranking?
Does it get a signal from the fuel pump off the relay at all?
