Fuel Hose,

Just need someone to confirm what im already thinking,

Is it ok to use rubber fuel hose on the pressure side of the efi system

been working on mine tonight as i could smell fuel while driving the weekend,and noticed the o ring joints on my plastic fuel hose are all weeping, i plan to replace the plastic hose with rubber hose if that is ok to do away with all the joints and to tidy it all up,

In a word, NO, you must use Injection quality braided hose, even with the correct stuff I have found with the slightest nick in the braiding the hose will baloon, for this reason alone, I went to SS Braided hose

they do a large amount of hose including stainless outer braid - will make up hoses to spec if desired or can supply everything for you to put it together

Supposedly same day dispatch but never checked that as I'm close enough to collect

the hose is supplied by Wurth,

thats what ive used for mine tone ive also covered it in the plastic wrap used on wiring looms (type that has a big wrap and a small wrap that lock into each other to protect it)

seems to work fine for me
