located the width of an sdi and its 62 inches between wheel mounting faces which is OK but the lowest ratio as far as I can find out is 3.09.
Not sure if 2.7 is available though . Is this correct?

Auto injection SD1s (Vitesse, EFI) had a 2.85 ratio. But only those two, which makes that axle quite rare, as most Vitesse are manual, and there were only about 1000 EFIs made.

And as I said, I know where there is one for sale for £100.

How about a MK2 Jaguar solid axle fitted with the 2.88.1 cwp and lsd from a xj6 xj12 that will give you rear discs , Or a Reliant scimitar axle again fitted with xj6 xj12 parts that will be on drum brakes . Both pretty much unbrakable .. Roy
