weak springs for checking rocker geometry

Post by Seight-V8 »

hiya all,

so i need to check the rocker geometry, before i buy some adjustable pushrods.

Where do i get a set of weak valve springs, so i can check the valve lift easy.

Look on google...but came up blank.

cheers

If you have an old rocker shaft and springs then use them. Cut them in half and bend the last coil a bit close it off. They work very well!

As Pete says. Either nobble some rocker shaft springs, or spend a few bob on Valve Check Springs from RS or Crane Cams etc.
But the cheaper option is just as good as the ones in the fancy box!!!
