removal of the dizzy

Post by andyv8van »

Hi,

i`m looking to remove the dizzy, use a electronic set up and set up to use fuel injection as well at a later date.

Anyone got plans as to making the dizzy drive correct when shortened off

the idea is to go fully out and run with a m90 blower.the dizzy seems to be in the way for the pulley`s

i really need to find the list of parts i need to plan the future mods

i`m not fully clued up to a set up like this yet

you will need an ignition unit like megajolt to control the ignition,
if you plan on using efi to then theres megasquirt + megajolt (unless its all in one unit now) theres Vems that does fuel and ignition, emerald do both, dta theres loads out there mate.

Depending on your front cover, if you remove the distributor you will still need to find a way to drive the oil pump as it's driven from the end of the distributor shaft.
