I would go for the lower pressure one as I don't know many RV8's that hold 10PSI when hot at idle in drive.

looks like in depends on how old the engine is :

mine started off life as a 90/110 landie lump so i'm going for the 50600

My oil light has stopped working too :( is there any way to check the bulb and wiring is OK before replacing the oil switch as it isn't very old and I would be surprised if it had failed again, no light when ignition is on but im sure the light flickered for a nano second whilst the starter was cranked. Any ideas?

take the connector off the pressure switch and put it to earth ..if the bulb lights it the switch ..
because thats all the switch does ..when no oil pressure the switch just puts the wire to earth so the bulb lights and when you have pressure it breaks the connection ..light off
