Air leak found !

Post by JSF55 »

I've been chasing around trying to find what was causing the idle to be so high on my Megasquirted pop, i've just found another air leak, missed the 2 screws for the heater plate under the plenum :( then i found i've missed the little stub that pokes out from under the air idle valve on the hotwire plenum :( does anything connect to this? i thought it was an alignment dowel

So thats where it went !

Told you it was an air leak mate :D

You get home from Billing okay?

Not sure if I told you when I saw you, but I bought a stainless steering column and a shiny metalflake silver steering wheel for the Jago. Mmm, sexy 8-)

AH ! much browsing of the internet shows me it's the take off for the fuel pressure regulator vacuum signal, no wonder it was leaking, a quick replumb and a straight feed to the MS, sees a nice idle at 700 rpm ..... result ! john
