I need to attach the oil pressure sender unit on my 3.5L RV8 using a 90 degree elbow adaptor which essentially moves the sender unit out of the way of the intermediate steering column on the DAX Rush.
Does anybody know the thread size for the oil pressure sender unit ? I can then source the correct adaptor.

I found out from jrv8 that the thread size is 1/2" UNF.
Anyway - what I ended up doing was swapping over the pressure sender unit and oil light sensor as they both have the same thread type and connect to the same oil gallery. Simple job and the intermediate shaft now has plenty of room.
Note - this is not possible on earlier oil pump housings as apparantly these have a tapered thread for one of the components - therefore, better to check rather than forcing things home and cracking the housing.....
