Sherpa remote for LT77
Can anyone help!!
I'm using a Sherpa remote on the back of my LT77 box.
Trouble is the ball joint coupling that bolts to the output shaft is very worn..
The ball and socket are held in by a retaining clip, so can be removed.
Does anyone know where I can get a 'new' ball and socket???
The brass ball has a part number stamped into it - EA162-391..tried 'googling' that as a long shot but no joy...
Cheers,
Nick.

here´s a link to a Rimmers catalogue. I know that it is for normal LT77 remote but with luck the parts are the same:

Thanks for that link..
Going by that diagram, what I need is the 'sherpa' equivelent to items:-
42H1112 and UKC9338..
The part that is listed as UKC3011 is 'going by that diagram at least' the same shape as the Sherpa one..
You've just reminded me that somewhere buried in the loft is the SD1 remote linkage I had with the gearbox..I wonder if those parts are interchangeable???
I'll try and find it and see..
Thanks,
Nick.

Probably worth confirming that it is the correct part before ordering, but Britcar list the part number
http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php?x ... currency=1
It looks to be a rose joint, so your local bearing supplier may be able to help

Hi Chris,
Does your microfiche quote the same part number as Bryan's link above?
The Brit-car site on the link list the bush as AAR1858 but the dimensions of 2cm x 13cm x 15.5cm mean it's the size of a dinner plate!!???
Even if I substitute the cm's for mm's none of them relate to the bush in my pic?
Thanks,
Nick.
