one for the four barrel leaky bucket experts

right I have a pair of 4 barrel throttle bodies I have bought 2 phenolic 2" carb spaces for them, both spacer and body have the same outside bolt spacing both are 1 3/4 inch holes but the spacer has them on a centre spacing an 1/8" bigger than the injection body. Are there two versions of this 4 hole carb body pattern or it this just another example of 'merkin production tollerances.
