jsut wanted some advice on mmy fianl set up!! 1 week to classic lemans! and as usual would like more cooling.
after newark kit car show i have copied a fellow robin hoods plumbing.
so in my kit car i have a coolman/capri rad, bottom hose to pump, top hose to rad, with an 8mm pipe going to my header tank on fire wall,
then, this is the questionable one, my 16mm hose from bottom of header tank go's to back of water pump, (i have the tall water pump with 2 returns, one is blocked already.
Then i have a drilled stat in my eddy manifold, and the bypass on the stat housing blocked off.
questions are, will i improve by putting 16mm to bottom hose and reconecting stat bypass to back of water pump????
and i might try fitting a stripped stat (no internals) as mentioned and discussed on other threads.
finished with a puller fan on rear of rad and a box around the front of the rad.
was thinking of hanging another fan infront of rad for just in traffic????
any advice would be great as not much time left!!
please also read crankshaft oil leak in engines aswell!!!!
