Hi mate

Its a none LSD version.

Have been reading that the LT77 like 0/40 fully synth engine oil

Is this the best bet? or sould i stick with the ATF?

sorry for the oil thred but there seems to be so many opinions on this.

Cheers

Hi
Transmissions are not my thing but from past postings, from what I followed over the years the lt77 should have good quality 20/50 in it, synthetic if you can afford it, no additives especially not moly slip as it kills the bearings, and defiantly not teflon as it burns out the syncro cones. Some put 50/50 ATF and 20/50 or straight 50/50 claiming it speeds up the change, but others say this also kills the syncro cones. personally I would put in good 20/50 and leave it at that. As for the 9" i would stick in straight 80 weight top quality transmission fluid if you are running less than about 550 bhp, if you are running more than that then 90 weight synthetic with teflon additive and change it every 3-4k or after about every 3rd race day. hopefully now someone will be on to argue with me :D
Best regards
Mike
