Inlet air sensor position

Post by DaveEFI »

I've converted my flapper EFI RV8 to MegaSquirt.
The original air temperature sensor is in the flapper AFM. I've replaced that with a bit of ally tube and fitted the air temp sensor to that. Is this the ideal position?

It will be fine.

Isnt overly important where it goes, as often OEM sensors are anywhere near the engine anyway.
