best street/strip tyre

Post by 61klassic »

Was wondering if any one on here has 1st hand advise on which tyre you could recommend for use on strip and be road legal. Am after maximum grip as street mileage isn't high. Also need to be 14" diameter, with 235 the max width.
Thanks

I was using Toyo 888R SG's at the weekend in Jersey. So bloody grippy I had problems spinning them up. However they probably wouldn't do more than two spirited laps of Coombe.

Cheers,

Ian
