Hi all, for the oil pressure and water temp, is mechanical gauges better or are the electric ones ok, the gauges are auto meter items,

my personal preference is mechanical gauges.

Generally yes and the resolution of mechanical gauges tend to be better as in they are the full circle and not a third that most electric ones are. Course you can pay loads of money and get electric gauges that are very accurate especially in temp gauges where they would use a thermo couple.
