Tbh the price doesn't sound bad at all, you will pay over £200 for a decent inlet manifold and about £300 for an eddy 4bbl, quad downdrafts espec webers are traditionally much more expensive. As Ian said, if they need rebuilding it wont be too cheap, but even if they dont is there ever anything wrong with haggling?!

you will make money if you break them. i will have the inlet manifold and linkage off you and you should be able to sell the idf's for alot of money if they are in good nick, if they are in bad nick they should still fetch £150+ for a pair.

Just spoken to the guy with the carbs + im gonna take them
He got them off someone who had a v8 grasstrack racer + had to sell up so everything was sold off in bits as was worth more

They have only done approx 8 meetings since new on the grasstrack racer + the bloke im getting them off was going to use them on his v8 stock car but is now going with a lexus v8 + doesnt need them + never used them
He said they dont even look like they have aver been used :)

Any one know what sort of price im looking at for setting up as they were on an rpi 5.2 race engine + my 3.9 isnt quite that spec lol

what size are the carbs? 45s? 48s? just it may be very difficult to get 48s to run on a 3.9 without choking them right down, then they don't transition properly.
