Oil pressure Transmitter on Intermediate Serpentine cover

Post by Slatter »

Right another question !

On my old racer the Oil pressure Transmitter was on a pipe between the remote oil fiter housing and the front cover, When i sold the racer that went with it, but i kept the engine.

Where do you normally put a Oil pressure Transmitter On a serpetined front cover, I cant see anywhere that it can go !

Thanks Slatter

Full and intermediate serpentine covers have the oil pressure sender on the drivers side of the cover.

Please note that the senders are different though even installed in the same place.

This is a photo of my interim timing cover. Note I have installed blanking caps where the oil cooler is usually plumbed in. I am planning on installing an oil temperature sensor in one of them.

Here's a photo of a later serpentine cover as installed on my engine before I found out that it would not work with my application.
