hotwire wire!

In the sticky for the hotwire setup a orange brown wire is mentioned and has to got to a 510ohm resistor when using a manual box, this I did. Now I have a auto box, where it go now!!!!, please dont say "where ever it went before the manual box" cos I dont know! Thanks.

IIRC it is just disconnected.

I think its a different value of resistor but I dont know what the value is. There is a post here somewhere that lists the values and what they are for.

cheers thanks will dissconnect the resistor and see if it makes a difference.

isn't that the wire that tells the ECU if it's in drive or not ?
remember it's only a bodge if it DOSN'T worK
