Greddy E-manage on a RV8??

Post by V8James »

Hi all
Going to be building either a 3.9 or 4.6 twin turbo v8 for a project car

Need something decent to be able to control the fuelling
The 4.6 im looking at is running with a distributor setup which i might keep

Ive been look around + wondering about using the Greddy e-manage on it
Does anyone knoe whether it will be ok or has anyone got any experience with fitting this system the an RV8?

Only reason im thinking of it as its a good system + complete setup can be got for aroung £300

I thought this is the best section to put it in as its fuel related

All help + info greatly appreciated

James

James,

Never heard of greddy but there are ECU's available from Megasquirt, Vems at around the £300 mark which will also run the ignition which is a sensible upgrade from a dizzy.

Sources for the Megasquirt and ignition components are;

Base maps for the Megasquirt are available on line to get you up and running.

E-Manage is a piggyack, and would not be suitable for what you want.
