R380 gearbox, speedo drive gear (Green 21-teeth)

Hi ya,

I am on the look out for a replacement speedo drive for my LDV V8 with a 5-Spd Manual gearbox, been told the gearbox is a R380 by the LDV main dealer (How can i check it's a R380 for defo please?). The drive gear in the end of the gear box is unfortunatley broken and LDV say it's an obselete part! Arrgghh! The gear is Green and have been told by main dealer it should have 21-teeth. Can anybody help with sourcing a new drive gear for my speedo please.
I've tried Rimmer Bros already, they was very helpful but unable to supply one as they couldn't find a listing for it.

I think that the R380 has the reverse under the 5th gear, the LT77 has it further past 1st gear. (Could be wrong of course!)

I'm picking up an R380 on Monday from a chap who recons these boxes, google for TM Transmissions. He has a website with a hotmail address, he does reply to emails!
