Auto Gearbox Options

Hi all,

Looking for an auto gearbox to replace our LT77 (2WD) that's attached to a Rover V8. We only have 26 1/2 inch to play with (tip of bell housing to end of prop) and cannot move the engine or transfer box to get more room

So we are stuck with a max of 26 1/2 inch.

What are the auto gearbox options then?

Not a 100% sure, but i think all the boxes manual or auto were the same length? at least the gm180 and the zfhp22 4 i fitted were, unfortunatley i'm unable to check the length at the mo !

Does anybody know the total length of a 2WD ZF box and the bell housing to go to a Rover V8?

hi just measured mine 271/2" from bell housing to end of flange regards paul
