... blanked off water channels on the rover v8 heads ?
the ones each side at the back that the inlet manifold covers up ??

are they used on any of the variants ?


remember it's only a bodge if it DOSN'T worK

The inlet manifolds do not accept coolant from the rear channels on the heads. This is to ensure that the coolant flows through each head fully, entering the inlet manifold on each side at the front of the engine.

It is my understanding that no inlet manifold suitable for the RV8 accepts coolant from the rear head channels.

I would agree with that. If it did, then as you say, the head would not have any coolant flowing through it.

the channels are on either end of the heads so they aren't handed, means they can be turned and still fit.
