Is anyone interested in custom built exhausts or manifolds

Post by Rossco »

Hi Everyone

I've got the chance to buy a mandrel bending machine for doing tubulars, exhausts, swaging, and reducers.

Before leaping in though I'm looking to gauge what kind of interest there is for this.

I've run this by Tony so if interested then just post below.

Of course I can't give prices straight off but I would of course make sure that the forum benefited from this.

Cheers

Allan

Hmmmmmmm  5" was my planned route....then I thought about twin 3.5's (the exit out of the hair dryer is 5") either way, it looks like we could have a deal :D

We buy 2" 45 deg bends 10 at a time.

Would look at Cosworth 24V manifolds - BOA & BOB if we had
a reliable source.

Don't want to get into V8 manifolds again but would consider
doing a diy kit with pipes and flanges if there is interest.

The GT40 Crowd would love another source

They range from 1.5 to 2.0 inch pipes, 4 int 1 collectors, same lengths etc.

So can you / rill you do stuff like this?

I also believe the biggest seller for this would be the Bike bregade who all want something different from standard.

Something to check on the machine is if it has the ability to do bends of different radius on the same pipe.

Also if the machine can work on 3 plains or only two

Some do but an awful lot don't
