whistling 3500 v8

hi all i cant seem to stop my sdi 3500 from wistling under slight load seems to come from throttlebody area have had it all of and cant improve it

rover sdi v8 5 speed 3500 with megasuirt cost me 500 bucks with 6 months rego was on a truck going to the recyclers but i saved it.

Hello Rod, that whistling is due to an airleak. Higher load induces manifold vacuum so air is being sucked in SOMEWHERE.

There are best part of a dozen places where this can occur.

Go to the plenum article on my website and it will tell you exactly how to find the problem.
