on engine wiring loom (large brown plug)
1. Brown/Green..permanant live.
2.purple/white..fuel pump relay.
3.White/purple..fuel pump out
White plug
1. grey/white(or green) to ign live ?
2.black/orange via 510ohm resistor to earth.
O.K brown plug no problem,however the grey/white cable seems to terminate in a spade conn around the rear of the altenator ?
There is a set of cables on the engine loom that terminate in several spade conns,one of which i belive to be the 12v feed to the coil(white wire male spade) but i get no power via this,the other connectors i belive to be, headlight feed (blue) side indecators(red) and a green/white
Also there are a pair of spade conns one with a single white/black,and one with a double white/black wire, these double back via "resistors" into the loom.
Also should there be a connection from the spade on the side of the dizzy to the coil?
What connections should there be on the coil ?
Engine is from a 95 P38 discovery...i hate wiring me
