Fresh engine sounds awful

Freshly built 3.5 with su carbs and 35dlm8 dizzy. Preliminary checks made, pressed the starter and it burst into life after 3/4 rotations. Only problem is it sounds like it's a 4 cylinder

It idles ok and revs ok, just sounds awful. Am I missing something???

No even dafter than that. Left one of the vacuum take off plugs out on the inlet manifold out, haha.
