rover V8 bhp

I have just fitted a standard 9.75 cr 3.5 rover V8 with su carbs and stock manifolds... all std.
What approximate bhp would this type of engine produce?

just as interest really as I have it on 5 speed SD1 g/b running thru to a Volvo 740 rear axle, think its 3.5 diff but not sure...
