Finally got my rebuilt 3.5 V8 into my race truck and did it's first start
A few probs as need to make better hoses, one possible water leak, temporary wiring and not done the throttle linkage yet, but pleased to get it started up before it has to be stored for a few months.
But the new V8 ran for only five minutes as it was sodding loud due to a lack of down pipes and there were a LOT of pissed off residents within a five mile radius. Next weekend I'll do the next 15 mins of cam break in.
