throttle body thor

Post by alanius »

Hi,

I've installed a 4.0V8 with a thor mannifold in my offroader, now I saw that the cooling water runs true the throttle body.

Is this usefull or why is this?

And can I remove this, as in my opinion the risk for leaks is larger.

Thanks for the information!

Regards
Alain

Its to prevent icing of the throttle body. The hotwire plenum has one underneath as well.
You can omit it if you don't think you will get icing on your throttle.
