Quick rocker advice needed

Post by cammmy »

Hi Guys

I just bought a set of replacement rocker shafts and steel arms (branded all makes 4x4). Before I give them to my brother to take back to NZ on Tuesday I need some advice. I've heard recently about poor quality rocker/shaft replacements and just wanted to know if anyone has used these and if they were okay?

The have a slight amount of movement on the shaft (vertical but not horizontal) but it doesn't seem too bad (to me). Is this okay or are they supposed to have no movement at all when new?

Thanks

Hi
I would find slight play acceptable, you definayly don't want them tight on the shaft as it is a tubular shaft.
best regards
