Correct Exhaust Gas readings 3.9 EFI non Cat Green Tune Resi

Post by jimbob »

Hi,

Fitted a new Tornado chip, and reset my timing, looked at the AFM voltages at idle its showing around 1.45 volts, going to get the loan of an analyzer, looking for the correct idle CO, I've got various numbers, from 1 up to 3%

Its a pretty standard V8 gas flowed heads, OEM cam completed around 20,000miles, janspeed S/S & headers.

Any ideas Gents?

Thanks,

Jim

The 3.5 flapper is 1-2% CO, if that helps.

Mot limit is 3.5CO and 1200HC for my 1990 engine

Needs to be really hot when being tested to get to the limits
