Injector bargin

Post by adamnreeves »

I just had a excellent deal on bosch injectors via Ebay. Some guy in the states that deals in Bosch injectors.

There are 22.5lbs/hr or 231 cc/min.
BOSCH # 0 280 150 998.

They were described as fitting a variety of American cars;
* 1986 -1995 5.0 V8 MUSTANGS
* 1996 -2002 4.6 MUSTANGS.

I think, and hope they are compatible?

How much? because of the exchange rate, £98 for a set of 8 brand new and that includes global express delivery!
and they come with the clips to attach to fuel rail.

I was in two minds but according to paypal which I use I am covered anyway.

I think these are good upto 306 BHP

Started chasing up where my injectors are. This morning the postie dropped a card round to say that it has not been delivered because I owe customs & excise a duty charge for my item! :shock:

My first time I have bought something and imported in. The post office charge was more than the duty charge, whats that about. I have already paid my courier charges! :shock:

doesn't matter, customs charge a given amount depensing on the item; Import Duty, then add that to the total value of the item, plus shipping and insurance, then they add 17.5% VAT on top of it all. I just got stung for £98 charges on an item worth £350 because the stupid Plank over the water put a much higher value on the box to 'cover damage'. Numpty.

I've just had x2 Accel ford style 4 post coil packs turn up from the states. They were $130 ish. I had them sent via UPS and when the UPS guy turned up i only owed him £23 for delivery (all the way from the states) and duty etc. Total bill is £92.14. New standard coil packs are £60+ vat each from ford (with some trade discount wangled out of them) and they're not as good! So i've saved about £50 and ended up with a better part.

Hey, that's good. I do not know how much my bosch injectors are here but the standard ones are somwhere between £60 - £80 each and I got the complete set and higher rating for a total of £110 included all the charges.

I think I am going to do more shopping over the water.
