V8 Supercars - Bathurst

Hi there, we here in Auckland have just lost our round of the V8 Supercars to a street circuit in Hamilton (where?). Very pretty on the TV but I want to see some racing, not a split second as the cars flash by and dissappear round a corner or under a pedestrian bridge. So can anyone out there who has been to Bathurst tell me where the best available seats are and why you reckon they're so good (start/finish line/pits are always good but...). Alternatively, any of the East coast rounds that have a view of some real racing and seats I can book up from over here. For God's sake someone out there, give me something to look forward to...!

One of my dads friends has been a couple of times and loved it.

He allways goes up on the moutain no bookin a seat needed then.
