Rover Flapper Injectors - Dead time value?

Post by Quagmire »

Hi guys,

After running around with MS1-Extra driving the ignition for some time I have finally set the date for the swap to fuel injection as the weekend after next. I'm currently sorting out the final bits of wiring, fuel lines etc, but also re-reading things about setting up when I finally get everything on and ready to go.

I'm using a flapper top end with the low impedance flapper injectors (reconditioned and flowing well) and a resistor box (a new homemade one, not a 20yr old Lucas one) so that I don't have to muck about with PWM control for the time being.

Being that I only have an MS1, I don't have the facility to test my injectors with it and therefore can't work out the injector dead time. Does anyone else have an accurate figure I can use?

I will have many more questions as I go along I am sure.

Thanks all :D

Jamie
