block pressure testing

Post by UncleThunderpants »

I've stripped down my 4.6 rv8 for a clean and inspection, the liners look ok but i'd like the block pressure tested before re assembly ( just in case) so... does any one know / recommend anyone in the west midlands that could do this for me? thanks :D

You could try Chesman Motorsport.

Thanks for the tip Chris, i've phoned them today and they can test it for £60 so that sounds reasonable, thanks again I was'nt having any luck finding a place! What would be the best way to clean the block before taking it in do you think?

Jizer, a hand-sprayer, a paintbrush and a cement mixing tray!
Or a dishwasher, but that makes the bores go rusty instantly.

Most engine places will give it a hot wash in a proper machine for not too much money.
