That sounds kind of fun... is it the 500 odd cubic inch version of the engine? in alluminium?
you could look at a rear mounted transaxel to try and ballance things up a bit, but I can't for the life of me think of one strong enough (poursch 928 possably??) probably stick out the back though.
Best of luck

poppet valves rule!
yes its the 505ci 8.3ltr gen 3 engine, 500hp+ and 525Ibft+, all alloy, with T56 6 speed manual attached, 928 transaxle would take it but i think i'll stick with the stock box as space is a little tight at the back, haven't a clue how it will go and handle, but i think it will go ok, 295/30 18 toyo 888's on the back should help with the grip a little, only doing it cos nobody else has and thought it might get noticed!!!!!!kiwicar wrote:That sounds kind of fun... is it the 500 odd cubic inch version of the engine? in alluminium?

yes its coming from the states, with the americans arranging the shipping its as cheap to fly it over, as me to arrange sea freight, hope to collect it from heathrow end of this week, begining of next.ihatesissycars wrote:THE nutter!
How did you go about getting that engine to you? I'm guessing it was imported from the states?
