Hello all, would a jag M112 charger be a suitable sized charger for a low c/r 4.6?

V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!
havent you thought of just transplanting the super charger and everything else that is attached to it (ie engine and gearbox) it would make the capri go a treat!
The 'box is loverly, especially in sport mode (engine is dead good aswell!!)
probably be quicker and cheeper in the long run.
Mike
PS. the super charger should be about right, maybe a little big, it is intended for about 390 to 410bhp on the Jag, you may need to alter the drive ratios to get it right, the Jag makes peek power at about 6500 to 6800, quite high compared to a rover.

Gav,
give me a shout if you want toothed belts and pulleys. We've been supplying them since the '70s for various aftermarket automotive applications to numerous to mention.

Got a run in it at Rosenheim in 2005, it went like the proverbial scorched cat!!
It was a 35V8 bored to 36 and Uve built the whole thing in his garage at the side of the house.
HOWEVER, he got a bit bored last year and it was running too well !! So he stripped it all back out and sold the lot (on fleabay of all places)
rumour is that a Rover restorer in Northern Germany is in the process of fitting it into a P5B !!
I have a ton of fotos I got from Uve during the build..it had a megasquirt system and a home built/ modified ecu.
he also milled a lot of the pulleys and brackets himself..
