I've done a bit more work, but not posted for ages. I hope to see it on the road this year. Looking at my last post it looks like I've only put a coat of primer on the body in the last year, but there's a hell of a lot more been done in the 'little odds and sods' department.

BBC headers tweaked to weld to fit BBF flanges:

Bear claw latches fitted to the doors:

Landrover fuel tank:

Mudguards mounted:

And powder coated brackets:

Body is now in primer filler, waiting for some decent weather to spray 2Ktopcoat on. Also has 2mm stainless steel firewall fitted::

S'gonna be a pale powder blue. I wanted a dark satin primer grey, but the wife and daughter wanted shiny blue, and the log book says blue, so blue it must be. :lol:

I love these rods - they must be an absolute nightmare on the road with that much power and unsophisticated suspension etc.

Great attention to detail, look forward to more pics.
