How embarrasing!

I was keeping an eye out for banjo's and red necks and i'm glad to say my arse escaped unscathed!

Thanks for this Kev i owe you one! I really cannot wait to get the thing on the road and driving, my Capri has some real competition now!

Went over to the porsche, correction MY porsche (woohoo!) today and replaced the alternator with another that came with the car and that then sorted the over charging problem. I did try a new regulator but that did squat.

Next thing to tackle was the headlights that wouldn't pop up. One well aimed blow to the headlight motor and that was that sorted. Next cam the wipers, they don;t wo. . . . Oh, they've sorted themselves out

That left nothing else other than a good clean and polish and MY GOD!!!!!!!MY GOD!!!!!!![

She's a looker alright! Its had an awesomely good paint job (engine bay too with the motor out) and looks fantastic in the flesh and all this for not alot of money!

I'm sure all my lucky days have been used up now so I'll be on my guard for a while

If all goes well it'll be home tomorrow, wish me luck!
