Try opening the plug gaps some more.. EDIS will run with 1mm with no problems, in fact Ford recommend 0.75mm to 1.00mm

OK, thanks. Might try the original plugs again with larger gaps, just as an experiment.

I run 40 thou 1.1mm plug gaps no problem with EDIS since install :) I wouldn't advise you run with less than 35thou with EDIS anyway. 8-)
