Ehats the gain with a shielded distributor and coil

whats the gain with a shielded distributor and coil, i had my replacement engine delivered and its all these shielded, must be ex army im thinking

its the same as in this link

but mines got a shielded coil too is it really worth that much.

It's for radio frequency suppression - think military radios, etc.

Unless you are trying to do a period military vehicle restoration, these are completely pointless!

I have an old set that you can have for half that!
