How much preasure should be put through the block when doing a preasure test?

I did it about 30psi, which is about twice what it sees when the engine is running.

Thanks chris, would running hot water through it first be enough to get it up to temp?

yes use hot water if you can.

It will get up to temp by aiming a space heater at it for 20 minutes too thus heating up the block water jacket inc the water in it. 8-)
