TSR1 and no engine number stamp

Stripped down a 4.6 engine i had dropped off on sunday and notice the engine numbers been ground off and TSR1 has been stamped on it. Any clues to who this might be ? thanks john

For some reason I find it entirly appropriate that a Rover engine should be built by an HPV nut :lol: :twisted:
