Has anyone got experience of fitting a twin exhaust system to a V8 MGB GT ?
MGOC sell one, but not sure what it is like etc. there must be other suppliers out there I am sure.

If you want a full twin MGB V8 exhaust system with tail pipes each side out of the rear valence you need to get your cheque book out I'm afraid !!
As well as the exhaust system you need to replace the fuel tank with a modified one as the drivers side pipe needs to pass through the tank at the rear end.
You have several options depending on engine size and the performance you want from it ?
And you need to decide if you like side pipes exiting just in front of the rear wheels each side?
Let us know the engine size and what you expect from the exhaust system and we can offer some tips.

Re mgb v8 twin exhaust
Thanks for the reply Perry.
I am in the process of fitting a standard rover sd1 3.5 v8 with a holley carb and a rover 5 speed gearbox. I am looking for a great sound and nice looking system exiting at the rear. Not too worried about obtaining maximum bhp. I am expecting to cut the front inner wings to allow mgr type manifolds to be fitted. I am also happy to move the fuel tank across but I don't really want to have to buy a new one.

You dont move the fuel tank. It has to be cut to make it narrower.
But as it easy to get off and play with its no biggie.
You would be better taking it out and making a new one to fit the gap.
